Traditional dishes like dumplings, fish, and rice cakes are served, each carrying symbolic meanings of wealth, prosperity, and good luck. At midnight, fireworks light up the sky to drive away evil and welcome the new year.
During the festival, children receive red envelopes containing money, known as "hongbao," as a symbol of good wishes and blessings. People also visit relatives and friends, exchanging greetings and gifts.
