Product installation
1.Preparation:
Make sure the floor is flat, dry, and clear of all debris and dust. Check that the floor meets the installation requirements and confirm that all materials and tools are in place.
2.Measure and plan:
Use measuring tools to measure the dimensions of the room, calculate the floor area required, and plan the direction and pattern of laying (it is usually recommended to lay along the longest wall of the room).
3.Ground preparation:
If the ground is uneven, it needs to be sanded or treated with self-leveling concrete to ensure that the ground is flat.
4.Install the base layer:
Laying a moisture-proof membrane or subfloor on the floor helps isolate floor moisture and provides additional sound insulation.
5.Laying wood plastic flooring:
Start laying the floor from a corner and install the floor panels according to the manufacturer's instructions. Usually the grooves of the plates are butted with the flanges and connected one by one. Use a rubber mallet to gently tap the plates to make sure they are securely connected.
6.Install edges and transition strips:
Near corners, it may be necessary to use a saw or cutting tool to tailor the floor panels to the appropriate size. Install floor edge strips and transition strips that help cover expansion joints and transition areas for a more complete look.
