The main materials of domestic wood plastic are divided into two categories: PE wood plastic and PVC wood plastic:
PE wood plastic products are mainly used for outdoor garden construction, such as guardrails, floors, trash cans, flower beds, pallets, etc. It has excellent waterproof and anti-corrosion properties, high hardness, and easy to bend when heated.
PVC wood plastic products are low-cost and excellent in processing; they can be made of new or old materials, and are easy to modify. The amount of filling depends on the quality of the product; they can also be processed twice with various surface patterns or paints including UV paint, and the products are beautiful and have good color fastness.
Both PE and PVC WPCs offer several advantages over traditional wood materials. Firstly, they are eco-friendly since they are made from recycled materials. Secondly, they are highly durable and resistant to rot, decay, and insect damage. Thirdly, they require minimal maintenance, compared to traditional wood materials that need regular staining, painting, or sealing.
In terms of applications, WPCs are widely used in the construction industry. They can be used for indoor and outdoor applications, such as flooring, decking, cladding, fencing, and furniture. They are also commonly used in the automotive industry for interior trims and exterior parts since they offer lightweight and durable solutions.
